The Meplash Agricultural Society Show is the South West's premier agricultural exhibition and is held at The West Bay Showgrounds, Bridport, Dorset on last Thursday before the August Bank holiday. The first show was held in 1847. This years show is on Thursday 21st August 2008 Featuring Horse and livestock competitions along with rural crafts, local produce, trade stands, agricultural machinery and a fun day out for all. |

 This year the Melplash Show proudly presents Medieval Jousting by Legends, the official parachute display team of both The Parachute Regiment and The British Army ‘The Red Devils’ and the Royal Navy hot air balloon will be lifting off around 6pm (weather permitting). |
