COLOURED - IN HAND and RIDDEN Ring 4 to follow M & M In Hand Entry Fee: Member £12, Non-Member £14 Prize Money: 1st £17; 2nd £15; 3rd £12 Judge: Mr S Somers, Sudbury, Suffolk This Show is affiliated to the Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK). Both the owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) but in order to qualify they must both be Showing Members and the horse/pony must be registered with the Society BEFORE THIS Show for the qualification to be valid (except Ponies (UK)/BSPS qualifiers where Membership and Registration, if not alreeady in place, MUST be made within 14days of qualification for qualification to be valid). See CHAPS Members' Handbook or www.chapsuk.com for rulings. The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 29th, 30th & 31st August 2008. Shows held on or after the Championship Show will count as qualifiers for the 2009 qualifiers. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card. Ponies UK Summer Championships will be held on 13th - 16th August 2008. The following classes are CHAPS (UK) Qualifiers: 37, 38, 39, 40 & 41.For full rulings and information on competition/qualification, please refer to the CHAPS (UK) Members' Handbook; or visit "www.chapsuk.com" . All stallions entering these classes must be graded with CHAPS (UK). ID cards must be carried in the ring for inspection. Foals born within current year are not eligible to compete in qualifying classes. Class 37 CHAPS (UK) Open Non-Native In Hand Qualifier, any height. 38 CHAPS (UK) Open Native/Cob/Traditional Type in Hand Qualifier, any height. 39 CHAPS (UK) Native /Cob/Traditional Type Open Ridden Qualifier, any height 40 CHAPS (UK) Non-Native Open Ridden Qualifier, any height. 41 CHAPS (UK) Open Youngstock Qualifier, 1, 2 or 3 year olds; no foals. The Melplash Agricultural Society Championship Rosette will be awarded to the best coloured horse or pony in Classes 37 - 41. 1st and 2nd prize winners are eligible.
