Live Lamb Results 2016

The first on site competition at the 2016 Melplash Show was judged on Tuesday 23rd August at the Show Ground – The Live Lamb Pairs competition. Bursary Student – Ashley Ball

Ashley received the Melplash Agricultural Society Bursary for three years whilst studying Horticulture at Bicton College finishing in 2014.   He studied and gained RHS Level 2 Horticulture Practical & Plant Taxonomy and RHS Level 3 Horticulture Practical & Propagation.  The bursary awarded went towards the course fees, travelling, equipment, tools, reference books, etc Ashley is now a self-employed gardener working […] Continue Reading

38th National Hedgelaying Championships

The Dorset flag was flying high again for the 38th National Hedgelaying Championships, this year held in Aldford, Cheshire. Seven competitors from Dorset made the long drive to the hotel, to be greeted in the morning with perfect hedging weather of an autumnal chill and sunshine.
