We are very pleased to announce our brand new Best Scotch Egg Competition kindly sponsored by Sausage & Pear in West Bay near Bridport. The competition is open to amateur chefs of all ages. Entrants are asked to make two scotch eggs using a recipe of your choice. The eggs should be presented on a paper plate and accompanied with a typed copy of the recipe giving details of the ingredients, indicating those locally sourced where applicable and method of preparation.
Entries need to be delivered to the Food Hall on Melplash Show day no later than 8.30am. Our judges from Sausage & Pear will start judging at 9am and the winners will be announced at 11 am in the Food Hall
