We are very pleased to announce our Best Scotch Egg Competition will return again for 2017 and is very kindly sponsored by The Anchor Inn in Seatown. The competition is open to amateur chefs of all ages. Entrants are asked to make two scotch eggs using a recipe of your choice. The eggs should be presented on a paper plate and accompanied with a typed copy of the recipe giving details of the ingredients, indicating those locally sourced where applicable and method of preparation.
Entries need to be delivered to the Food Hall on Melplash Show day no later than 8.30am and will be judged by Jean-Paul de Ronne Head Chef for the award-winning Anchor Inn in Seatown, recently recognised as England’s best pub by Visit England. Judging at 9am and the winners will be announced at 11 am in the Food Hall
