The show is open to the public 8.30am to 6.00pm and we have a full day of entertainment and things to see and do!

Broke FMX The UK’s leading motorcycle display. With years of experience, Broke FMX stunt display team are dedicated to electrifying crowds of all ages. The formula is simple. Broke FMX and Freestyle Motocross offers unrivalled entertainment with athletes jumping 35 feet in the air pulling acrobatic stunts over gaps approaching 100 feet. Broke FMX features some of the top UK freestyle motocross riders, always eager to show off their tricks and skills – including a backflip – if conditions are right.
After each of the two displays, the public are invited to the Broke FMX team stand – where they can meet the riders, have photos taken with riders and motorbikes.
Also in our main arena, we will be welcoming the brilliant Shetland Pony Grand National. This will be the first time the team have visited our show and you can watch them racing in our main ring! This fast paced and fun event raises money for their nominated charity which this year is the Bob Champion Cancer Trust.

The Sheep Show – is a humorous educational live stage show about sheep and wool. Edu-tainment at it’s best. Nine breeds introduced onto their own stage. Don’t miss the Dancing Sheep!
Jonathan Marshall – Jonathan Marshall has earned his reputation as one of the worlds leading display falconers over the last 30 years. Not content with just flying birds of prey, Jonathan introduced dancing Spanish horses into his display and trained both birds and horses to work together.
Strawberry Jam the Clown is a cheeky, bright, bubbly, mischievous character. Strawberry performs comedy magic and circus skills shows, including juggling stunt chickens and her magic washing machine!
The Bee Circus – You might have heard of a Flea Circus before, but have you heard of a Bee circus? A playful roaming performance with larger than life, animatronic interactive bee puppets and vintage circus characters/bee handlers, engaging families in a fun, informal way while sharing simple ideas about pollination and supporting bees.

Wyld Morris – Wyld Morris are the West Dorset Side that dance the Bridport Rope Dance, a good repertoire of Cotswold dances with sticks and hankies, and a smattering within the Border tradition. A mixed side formed fifteen years ago at Monkton Wyld, they are based around Bridport. Find Wyld Morris at festivals, community events, Shows and an occasional pub! See Wyld Morris performing at our show outside Palmer’s Melplash Inn (beer tent) in our Countryside field.
Professor Crump – The Professor – standing eight foot tall in his magnificent top hat and entertaining with his Crumpantics. Stilt walking, balloon modelling, magic and general mayhem!
Cynewulf Morris – Cynewulf Morris are a local Morris Dance side who specialise in mainly stick and hanky dances of Cotswold origins. The name of the side is derived from King Cynewulf who was one of the first Kings of Wessex (757-786) and was known for his connections in the local area particularly Uplyme. The current membership is six musicians and ten dancers. Most members are experienced Morris musicians and dancers and wish to carry on the aims of preserving the heritage of the Morris tradition, within the local community, and spreading the word to a younger generation. This involves public performances in the local Lyme Regis Dorset/Devon area including various school and youth organisations. Moreover, the mixed side of males and females enables a wide age group (9 years old – 76 years old) including the hard of hearing and disabled to come together with a common interest. Furthermore, this provides friendship and social interaction which is vital for mental well-being. See Cynewulf Morris performing outside the beer tent in our Countryside field.
BubbleMan and Bubble Faerie – bringing their bubbly magic to our show! Look out for them around the showground!
Piano Bike Girl – Chloe and her fabulous piano bike will be cycling around the showground, make sure you stop and listen to this very talented pianist and singer.
The Jelly Roll Jazz Band – The Jelly Roll Jazz Band was originally formed in 2010 by Laurence Marshall, and first performed as a quartet of clarinet, tenor saxophone, banjo and tuba. Today, today it usually takes the form of a trio, with clarinet, banjo (or guitar) and double bass (or sousaphone). The style of music they play is traditional ‘Dixieland’ jazz. They cover a range of standards from the 1900s to the 1930s, including such favourites as ‘Down By the Riverside’, ‘When the Saints’ and ‘The Sheik of Araby’. Their repertoire also features more recent hits like ‘The Bare Necessities’ and ‘Moon River’, and they have even branched out into ‘90s pop with versions of ‘My Heart Will Go On’ and ‘…Baby One More Time’. Their influences include jazz greats such as Benny Goodman, Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller, Jelly Roll Morton and Chris Barber. The eccentric humour of The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band plays a big part in their performance style as well, often lending a slightly surreal edge to proceedings.
Fangs N Feathers – Your chance to Meet the Reptiles! At Fangs’N’Feathers, we love our animals and like nothing more than sharing them with other people. Roger has loved wildlife all his life and has over 45 years of field experience. He is qualified in Exotic Animal Care and has a Diploma in Herpetology. He makes wildlife documentaries as part of a small production team where he is a researcher and drone pilot. He has travelled extensively, and his footage appears in documentaries worldwide for the likes of National Geographic and Magellan TV. We’re a family run business with many years’ experience keeping and breeding a variety of reptiles and amphibians and want to share our passion with you! We will bring a selection of reptiles and work with small groups, allowing those that wish to get a close look and to touch and possibly hold (depending on the species) any of the animals.
Rock Choir – Rock Choir has an uplifting ethos of fun and friendship, and it helps improve people’s well-being by building their self confidence and self-esteem through the power of group singing. The Rock Choirs of Bridport and Dorchester can be seen performing favourite songs you’ll know and love at local events in and around West Dorset, and have also been featured further afield at the Edinburgh Fringe.
The Bridport Broadsides – The Bridport Broadsides was formed in 2019 by Chris Deacon in response to a request for musical entertainment at a local charity event. Miraculously the diverse bunch of press-ganged old (and not so old) men found they had a love of singing shanties and songs of the sea as well as a new companionship which continues to flourish and entertain others. They perform at various festivals and village fetes and often are invited to sing by some of the local pubs, but have not yet succeeded in completely emptying one! In their short existence they have raised hundreds of pound for worthy causes. Hear them perform on our village green in the countryside field.
Sheridan the Sheepdog – bring smiles, laughter and amazement to adults and children alike.
Dorset Young Farmers Marquee – learn about our local clubs and watch sheep shearing.
St Swithun’s Band – The St Swithun’s Brass Band is based in Bridport, Dorset. Listen to them play in our Jack Norman field (opposite the Food Hall) from 10.00am to 12.30pm.
A fun packed Countryside Arena with everything from ferret racing to gun dog displays.
Bridport Dog Training Society – meet the team at Bridport Dog Training Society and watch their display in our countryside arena. They have been offering dog training services to the local community for over 60 years, encouraging responsible dog ownership with well trained and socially acceptable dogs.
The Melplash Inn – our fabulous public bar hosted by Palmers Brewery of Bridport
Discover Farming Marquee – A must visit for all families who are interested in learning more about food production and farming. Packed with hands-on activities for children including grinding wheat, making, cooking and eating pizzas, making cheese and apple juice, apple juicing, milking a goat and even calving a cow!!
Moores Biscuits Cookery Theatre hosting a number of cookery demonstrations throughout the day. (2026 timetable coming soon)

Emergency Services Zone – come and meet members of our local emergency services including HM Coastguard, National Coast Watch Institution, Dorset Search & Rescue, Bridport Harbour Master, Yeovil Freewheelers Bloodbikes, Dorset Fire Service and more. Meet volunteers from these groups and learn more about the invaluable work they carry out in our local area and how you can get involved.
