In closing my two years in office, I would like to review the progress made in that time. The biggest single step was incorporation, but I am glad that this has now been achieved. The removal of the prospect of huge financial burden on individuals is a great relief. I thank particularly, Nigel Jones and Sharyn Brown for their hard work in pushing this through. |

Origins of The Melplash Show |
The Melplash Agricultural Society Show is the South West's premier agricultural exhibition and is held at The West Bay Showgrounds, Bridport, Dorset on last Thursday before the August Bank holiday. The first show was held in 1847. |

The Melplash Agricultural Society is pleased to announce that it is offering a grant of £1,000 to a Student aged 18 years and over who is planning to pursue courses in subjects connected to Agriculture.
